International Student Association

The WBS International Student Association has been established to build connections and create opportunities.

We are pleased to announce the official establishment of the WBS International Student Association, which took place on 22 May 2025 in Budapest at Wekerle Business School (WBS).

On this occasion, a small reception was held to celebrate the forming of the Association with the attendance of Dr. Imre Balogh, Rector of Wekerle Business School; Junkai Ma, President of Wekerle Business School; and other colleagues of WBS.

The Association is formed by a team of dedicated and talented students: Ann Fernando, Eman Majeed, and Hamid Hussain. Ann is studying in our MBA program and is from Sri Lanka, while Eman and Hamid are from Pakistan. Eman is pursuing studies in Commerce and Marketing, and Hamid is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration and Management program. We believe in their leadership, creativity, and commitment to building a vibrant and inclusive community at our school.

The goal of the WBS International Student Association is to unite students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Through various activities, the Association aims to promote multicultural exchange, provide networking opportunities, and organize social, cultural, and educational events. This initiative will significantly contribute to the student experience of Wekerle Business School, offering numerous opportunities for connection, collaboration, and personal growth.
